The Hilton Hotel near J16 of the M4 will host the 3rd Swindon Foodbank Ball on Friday 5th March 2010. Previous Balls have been a big part of the fund raising programme that helps us find the £45,000 each year needed to run Swindon Foodbank.
A night of entertainment and fun will include a drinks reception accompanied by Boulevard Swing, a sumptuous meal, followed by a chance to learn to dance with local dance teacher from Pawlan Dance School ~ the generosity of the people and businesses of Swindon will help make the night a great success with a chance to bid on or win some much sought after items during the evening.
Come and help those in crisis locally. Since the recession hit our town unemployment has risen from 1500 to 10,000 and referrals to Foodbank from the professionals rose from 70 people a month to 300 ~ there but by the grace of God go each of us...
